At Sandy Health and Rehab we know that nutrition is essential part to the healing process and the dining experience is an important part of an individual’s overall well-being. For that reason, meeting the nutritional needs of our patients with well-balanced meals and snacks is an important part of the care that we strive to give to all of our patients. Our Registered Dietitian is a food and nutrition professional who translates the knowledge of nutrition therapy into practical solutions for healthy living. The Dietitian collaborates with our Dietary Manager, the patient, and our rounding physician, along with other members of the interdisciplinary team to execute food-focused nutrition to improve the patient’s health during their stay with us. The Dietitian is skilled in promoting positive lifestyle choices and in the management of diseases such as:
